Before joining the Jumeirah Group as Community Engagement Manager in 2009, UAE National Sharifa Al Maawali spent five years in corporate responsibility in various roles across a number of large Dubai based organizations including DU and TECOM. 

Sharifa started her career as a banker whilst advancing her education in Computer Studies. She then moved into the field of IT and Telecommunications before she found her passion in Corporate Responsibility.
