I have over 18 years experience in the hospitality industry as well as a solid background and involvement in Responsible Business activities for the company and community.
Having worked for a number of leading International operators in India and the Middle East throughout my career, I joined Rezidor in 2005 as Executive Secretary at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Media city. It was during this time that I took on the additional role of Responsible Business Trainer and Co-ordinator for the hotel. In 2009, I moved to the Radisson Blu Hotel, Abu Dhabi Yas Island as Executive Secretary and Responsible Business Coordinator and Trainer for both the Radisson Blu Hotel and Park Inn by Radisson Abu Dhabi Yas Island.
Having worked as a Responsible Business Trainer and Co-ordinator for five years, I have undertaken various Responsible Business activities on behalf of the hotels including; the launch of a recycling programme in TECOM, Dubai, collaboration with the Engineering Departments to search for more energy saving solutions, ongoing monitoring of recycling programmes within the hotel and staff accommodation, as well as working in partnership with a number of local charities to organize events, raise funds and utilize the hotel facilities and team members to provide valuable support to those in need. I also played an integral part in the successful launch of the annual Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Media City Shoebox Appeal Programme in September 2008 which saw over 7500 boxes of essential items with a total value of AED 900,000 donated to local construction workers. Which is now re launched as The Rezidor Hotel Group’s The Box Appeal.
